About the role
WTG Commissioning Supervisor required for a major offshore wind farm developer based in Europe. The role involves representing the client as the WTG commissioning authority, overseeing pre-assembly, testing, and commissioning activities, and ensuring requirements are met prior to handover to generation. Responsibilities include monitoring quality, functionality, interfaces, readiness, risks, snags, and defects; supervising and witnessing mechanical and electrical readiness and system integration; following up on NCRs, punches, retrofits, and defects; tracking commissioning progress; contributing to lessons learned; and witnessing reliability test runs and commissioning documentation review. Requirements include technical education or equivalent background, strong WTG system knowledge, experience in WTG pre-assembly and offshore commissioning, understanding of SCADA and electrical safety, GWO certifications, OGUK medical, and strong communication and documentation skills.
