About the role
Grid Manager role based in Madrid for a leading company with around 20 GW of projects in the pipeline in Spain. Responsibilities include ensuring and optimizing grid connections for solar, energy storage, and wind projects, overseeing grid connection projects, carrying out technical assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role reports to the Head of Networks and Business Development within the European EPC team. Requirements include fluent English and Spanish, a degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a similar field, more than 2 years of relevant experience in power systems and grid connections in Spain, preferably with the Spanish system operator or a renewable project developer, knowledge of Spanish and European requirements for connecting power plants to the grid, and strong teamwork and results orientation.
