About the role
UTM Consultants are looking for Competent Technicians for projects in Germany on Siemens 3.6MW and 4MW turbines. The role involves inspection, maintenance and testing work to the required technical standard, using approved procedures, checklists and manufacturer instructions. Duties include mechanical or electrical tasks, crane and service lift inspections and functional checks where trained and competent, identifying and reporting defects and unsafe conditions, following WTSR procedures, risk assessments, permits and isolations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting safe handovers and coordination with the offshore team. Required qualifications include a mechanical or electrical trade certificate or equivalent vocational qualification, current WTSR Core training and relevant experience, GWO offshore training including Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and Sea Survival, Advanced Rescue, Enhanced First Aid, HUET and confined-space qualifications, crane-specific training, service lift training as applicable, and a current offshore medical and required travel or access documents. Start date is 1st March 2027 for approximately 24 weeks.
