About the role
UTM Consultants are seeking Competent Technicians for projects in Germany on Siemens 3.6MW and 4MW turbines. The role involves inspection, maintenance, and testing work to required technical standards, using approved procedures, checklists, and manufacturer instructions. Duties include mechanical or electrical tasks, crane and service lift inspections and functional checks where competent, defect reporting, compliance with WTSR procedures, and accurate record keeping. The project is scheduled to start on 1 March 2027 and last approximately 24 weeks. Required qualifications include a mechanical or electrical trade certificate or equivalent vocational qualification, current WTSR Core training, relevant experience, and offshore training including Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, Sea Survival, Advanced Rescue, Enhanced First Aid, HUET, and confined-space qualifications. Additional crane-specific, lift-specific, and offshore medical requirements apply.
