Onshore Installation Technician contract role in the renewable energy sector supporting onshore wind farm installation and maintenance campaigns across the UK and Europe. The position involves wind turbine installation from assembly through mechanical completion, including tower sections, nacelles, hubs, blades, and internal mechanical systems. Responsibilities include reading OEM manuals and technical drawings, following lifting plans and work instructions, torque and tensioning procedures, quality documentation, crane operations, and HSE compliance. Candidates should have 2-5 years of wind energy experience, OEM installation experience, mechanical and hydraulic awareness, and familiarity with installation tooling, inspection, permit-to-work systems, and lockout/tagout procedures. Valid GWO Basic Safety Training, First Aid, and a medical certificate such as OGUK or equivalent are required; GWO Enhanced First Aid and GWO Sea Survival are advantageous.
