Head of M&A (Europe) – Renewables – Germany (Hybrid) with competitive compensation, LTI, and strong progression opportunities. European IPP with institutional investment, 500MW+ operating assets, and a 5GW+ secured wind, solar, and BESS pipeline across Europe. The role leads acquisitions and divestments across current markets and new market entry, reporting to the CEO and supporting senior management to build a high-performing team and effective systems and processes. Responsibilities include defining and executing a 3 to 5 year regional/international M&A strategy, leading origination, due diligence, negotiation, and closing of buy- and sell-side deals focused on utility-scale renewables assets and platforms, and managing relationships with banks, brokers, consultancies, funds, IPPs, and developers across Europe. The successful candidate will have a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or Engineering, 3+ years leading M&A transactions in utility-scale solar PV, wind, battery storage, green gases, or gas, experience negotiating with banks, funds, utilities, and IPPs, strong commercial and analytical capabilities, team leadership experience, and German and English language skills.
