RWE Americas is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II for its Digital Solutions organization in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on the Smart Data Pipeline platform, an Azure-hosted system supporting wind energy assets and future solar/BESS assets. Responsibilities include architecture and hands-on development of cloud-native data pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, analysis, forecasting, alerting, and monitoring; integration of measurement systems such as lidar, met mast, and sensors; technical leadership; code review; standards enforcement; stakeholder collaboration; and mentoring. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred Microsoft Azure certifications, at least 7 years of relevant software engineering or data platform experience, and experience with Azure, Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems, microservices, React, TypeScript, C#, Python, Terraform, SQL, and related data engineering tools and workflows.
