About the role
In-house Legal Associate role with a leading international organisation in the renewable energy sector, based in Cape Town. The position supports the development and delivery of large-scale wind and solar projects across the full project lifecycle, from development and investment through to construction and operations. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, supporting project bids and tender submissions, advising on legal and regulatory requirements, assisting with project structuring, joint ventures and acquisitions, managing external legal counsel, supporting dispute resolution and risk mitigation, and contributing to governance, compliance and legal reporting. Requirements include an LLB or BCom Law, 5–10 years of relevant legal experience, a strong background in commercial contracts and project-based environments, and experience in infrastructure, energy or industrial sectors.
