About the role

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Corporate Development Director for a leading investment fund with a European scope. The role will lead advanced-stage development and assess the feasibility and suitability of 1 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS projects in Europe. It combines technical assessment, project development, and on-site execution, requiring a full-cycle understanding of utility-scale assets from concept to commercial operation. Responsibilities include leading feasibility studies and site evaluations, reviewing preliminary construction approaches, establishing agreements and business partnerships for project co-development, originating new onshore projects, identifying projects nearing Ready to Buy, preparing and implementing the commercial plan in Europe, growing the greenfield and brownfield pipeline, managing permitting, and monitoring market regulations, interconnection rules, and grid-code requirements. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field, more than 8 years of experience in technical development and origination for renewable-energy projects, and EPC cycle experience with on-site coordination and technical support from groundbreaking to COD.
