About the role
The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Grid Manager for a leading company with around 20 GW of projects in the pipeline in Spain. Responsibilities include securing and optimizing grid connections for solar, energy storage, and wind projects in Spain; overseeing grid connection projects; conducting technical assessments; ensuring regulatory compliance; and working with internal and external stakeholders. The position is based in Madrid and reports to the Head of Networks and Business Development within the European EPC team. Requirements include fluent English and Spanish, a master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, energy systems, or a related field, more than 2 years of relevant experience in energy systems and grid connections in Spain, preferably with the Spanish system operator or a renewable energy project developer, knowledge of Spanish and European grid connection requirements, and strong teamwork and results orientation.
