About the role
Wind Farm Technician Associate role supporting operations and maintenance of one or more wind farms and related facilities. Responsibilities include safe execution of scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities, training and safety exercises, maintaining tools, equipment and vehicles, providing technical guidance to the O&M team, recording service activities in a digital maintenance management system, and assisting with turbine maintenance and Balance of Plant procedures including substation and collection system maintenance. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred associate's degree or technical college degree, preferred journeyman or master electrician license, at least 2 years of experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, or distribution, and strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
