About the role
66kV HV Authorised Person required for a long-term Corp to Corp contract supporting the construction and commissioning of a large-scale offshore wind development in the USA. The role involves supporting installation, commissioning and energisation of 66kV offshore electrical systems, including HV switching, isolations, LOTO, PTW and LOA control, coordination with Lead SAPs, the control room and commissioning teams, and support for energisation of the offshore substation, inter-array cables and turbine strings. Previous HV Authorised Person experience is required, along with strong knowledge of HV switching, isolations and safe systems of work. Experience with LOTO, PTW and LOA procedures is required. Current GWO certification is required. Offshore wind experience is preferred but not essential, and strong onshore HV backgrounds will also be considered. US citizenship is required. Rotational working pattern; 4/4 rotation or flexible rotations of three to six weeks can be accommodated.
