About the role
HR Manager for an experienced and hands-on professional to lead the HR function from a Teesside office. The role is office-based with site engagement as needed and supports engineering and construction services across major infrastructure projects in sectors including Offshore Wind, Power & Renewables, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence, and Data Centres. Responsibilities include leading and developing the HR team, handling employee relations, partnering with operational leaders on workforce planning, designing and implementing HR policies and procedures, overseeing recruitment and resourcing, managing pay and terms for site staff, driving engagement and retention initiatives, supporting compliance matters, and reporting on HR metrics to senior leadership. Required experience includes HR management in engineering, construction, or a similar sector, knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations case management, team leadership, and stakeholder influence. Familiarity with NAECI, CIPD qualification, and experience with a mobile or site-based workforce are desirable.
