HSE Advisor required for contract roles on UK HV cable installation projects. The role involves site-based health, safety and environmental support across an extended cable route, covering excavation, buried services, traffic management, trenchless crossings and cable pulling operations. Responsibilities include inspections and audits across multiple work fronts, review of risk assessments, method statements, lift plans and excavation permits, monitoring traffic management and environmental controls, investigating incidents and near misses, delivering inductions and toolbox talks, and supporting safety briefings. Experience is required in cable, utilities, highways or linear infrastructure projects, along with knowledge of CDM 2015, NRSWA and environmental permitting. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate and IOSH membership are required, plus a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel along the route.
