About the role
The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Grid Manager for a leading company with around 20 GW of projects in the pipeline in Spain. The role involves securing and optimizing the connections required to connect solar, energy storage, and wind projects to the grid in Spain. Responsibilities include overseeing grid connection projects, carrying out technical assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The position is based in Madrid and reports to the Head of Networks and Business Development within the European EPC team. Requirements include fluent English and Spanish, a master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a similar field, more than 2 years of relevant experience in power systems and grid connections in Spain, preferably with the Spanish system operator (Red Eléctrica) or a renewable energy project developer, knowledge of Spanish and European grid connection requirements, and strong teamwork and results orientation.
