About the role
Wind Farm Technician II role supporting the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of wind farms and related renewable energy facilities. Responsibilities include scheduled and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system testing across wind, solar, and battery energy storage system assets; diagnosis and resolution of moderate technical issues; maintenance planning support; documentation in a digital maintenance management system; plant tool and equipment readiness; and mentorship of trainee and associate technicians. The role includes on-call availability and travel between sites. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant hands-on technical experience, wind turbine experience preferred, solar or BESS maintenance experience, industrial electrical/mechanical/hydraulic maintenance experience, a current Journeyman or Master Electrician license, and a Wind Technician certification or similar industry-recognized credentials.
