The role involves supporting offshore wind farm operations, including safety management and reporting, stakeholder engagement, turbine fault analysis, operational risk documentation, site fault reporting, work planning, technical decision-making, and a continuous improvement project with budget, contract, and contractor management. Candidates should be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, be eligible for a year-in-industry placement, and have strong communication, organisation, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills. The role requires at least five years of residence in the UK due to potential National Security Vetting requirements, and active or achievable SC-level vetting may be needed. Training includes Global Wind Organisation certification, Wind Turbine Safety Rules, and in-house technical training.
