About the role
Wind Plant Manager responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of a utility-scale wind power plant. Duties include budget development and compliance, outage coordination and scheduling, oversight of operations and maintenance, environmental/health/safety program compliance, crew safety training and assessments, third-party contract administration, warranty administration, capital improvement programs and retrofits, staffing and employee development, annual budgeting and monthly profit and loss reporting, root cause analysis review, performance evaluations, and internal controls. Requires experience in power plant operations and maintenance, the ability to climb 80-meter steel towers, advanced computer skills, knowledge of crane and rigging requirements, and a valid driver's license. Preferred experience includes wind plant operations, wind turbine work, high-voltage maintenance and switching, preventative maintenance programs, and CMMS.
