Senior Legal Executive - Turbine Procurement & Renewable Energy. An international renewable energy developer and IPP with a significant portfolio across wind, solar and BESS is expanding its legal and commercial function. The role involves working closely with procurement, project delivery, transactions and senior leadership on major renewable energy projects. The position requires strong experience in renewable energy, turbine procurement and complex commercial contracts, with ownership of the legal aspects of major turbine procurement processes. Responsibilities include supporting negotiation, contracting and execution; negotiating turbine supply, installation, service and related commercial agreements; advising on contractual risk, financial security, liability, warranties and commercial exposure; supporting negotiations with international OEMs, suppliers and contractors; managing contractual risks, claims, variations and potential disputes; working closely with procurement, project, commercial and transaction teams; and supporting the development of contract management, templates and legal processes, including AI-enabled technology. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 8–10+ years' post-qualified experience, a background in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure or construction, turbine procurement or wind energy contracting experience, experience with EPC, FIDIC, supply, construction, O&M or LTSA agreements, strong commercial negotiation and contractual risk management skills, comfort working directly with procurement and commercial teams, international or multi-jurisdictional experience, and excellent English.
