About the role
Our client is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP with an established presence across Poland and wider European markets. The business focuses on the development, acquisition, financing, construction and operation of renewable energy assets, with a particular focus on utility-scale solar, wind and energy storage projects. The company is seeking an M&A Manager to support the origination, assessment and execution of acquisition, disposal and partnership opportunities across the Polish renewable energy market. The role sits within the investment/corporate development function and works closely with senior management, development, finance, legal, technical and external advisory teams. Responsibilities include supporting M&A opportunities across solar, wind, BESS and wider renewable energy assets; leading financial analysis and valuation work; building and maintaining financial models; coordinating due diligence; preparing investment papers and board materials; supporting transaction structuring; analysing market trends and regulatory developments; managing external relationships; and supporting portfolio optimisation initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, infrastructure investment, project finance or corporate development, along with strong financial modelling and valuation skills and experience working on live transactions.
