Faststream is working with an established shipping organisation in Germany seeking an experienced HSSEQ Incident Investigation Manager. Based in Duisburg, the role supports a large inland shipping operation with a focus on incident investigation, root cause analysis, operational safety, and development of the Safety Management System. Responsibilities include investigating incidents and near misses, developing corrective actions, translating lessons learned into procedures and training, supporting risk assessments and safety initiatives, and working with vessel crews and shore-based teams. The role requires experience in HSSEQ, marine safety, incident investigation, or accident prevention, ideally from inland or tanker shipping, along with strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills. German and English at B2 level or above are required, Dutch is advantageous, and existing right to work in Germany is mandatory.
