About the role
QA/QC Manager for a major offshore wind project in Japan on a contract basis. The role covers oversight of quality assurance and quality control activities across construction, installation and associated project works, including quality plans, inspection and test plans, documentation control, inspections, audits, non-conformance management, corrective actions, reporting and coordination with engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, contractors and suppliers. Experience in offshore wind, renewables, marine construction, oil and gas, power generation or major infrastructure projects is required, along with strong knowledge of quality standards and contractor quality management processes. Experience in Japan or the wider APAC offshore wind market is advantageous, and Japanese language skills are beneficial but not essential.
