About the role

Onshore Logistics Manager required for a major offshore wind developer in the UK. The role includes administrative support for the Offshore Construction Base, liaison with the port on site maintenance, management of goods and services through the port, control of goods in/out processes, traceability of parts and equipment, coordination of vessel port calls and logistics, arrangement of port plant and equipment, movement of equipment between storage areas and quayside, coordination of goods movements with vessel schedules and helicopter flights, housekeeping across storage areas and facilities, support for helicopter transfer logistics, issuing joining instructions and creating personnel profiles, arranging accommodation and transport, maintaining goods tracking databases, tracking materials through to installation or use, coordinating deliveries, loadouts, backloads and port interfaces, marshaling personnel during logistics operations, and administrative support to site and package managers. Requirements include strong administration and organisational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, database and tracking system experience, strong report writing, effective communication with stakeholders, compliance with HSE, security and GDPR requirements, understanding of corporate IT security practices, prior experience in a UK port, offshore wind or marine logistics environment, knowledge of UK maritime and port procedures including ISPS Code awareness, willingness to travel between operational locations, and experience managing goods movements, deliveries and inventory tracking. Optional duties include davit crane operator training and LOLER/PPE inspections and recertifications.
