11kV / 33kV Senior Authorised Person – Northern England / Scottish Borders – Onshore RenewablesI’m working with an established renewable energy business looking to bring an experienced Senior Authorised Person into their team, supporting operational sites across Northern England and Scotland.The work covers BESS, solar PV and onshore wind. This is a hands-on role combining SAP responsibilities with practical electrical maintenance, so would suit someone with a fitting or maintenance background who enjoys being involved in the work on site.Responsibilities:Acting as SAP across 11kV and 33kV renewable energy systems, within your authorisation.Establishing Safety from the System, including HV switching, isolations and earthing.Issuing safety documentation and releasing equipment for work.Carrying out hands-on planned electrical maintenance.Responding to faults and customer requests across operational sites.Working independently, including lone working where required.Travelling between sites across Northern England and Scotland.Ensuring all work is completed in line with electrical safety rules and site procedures.Experience:Previous or current SAP authorisation at a minimum of 11kV.33kV SAP experience would be advantageous, although development from 11kV is available.Strong practical HV electrical maintenance experience.A DNO fitting, electrical fitting or similar hands-on engineering background.Experience across BESS, solar PV or onshore wind would be beneficial.Comfortable working independently and travelling regularly between sites.Ideally based in Northern England or the Scottish Borders, with access to sites across Scotland.If you’re an experienced SAP looking for a hands-on role within onshore renewables please get in touch to discuss the opportunity and send your CV to shown after sign-in Recruiter: Josie Wade Recruiter phone: shown after sign-in Recruiter profile: shown after sign-in
