The Solar Farm Technician Associate supports the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems to ensure reliable energy production and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role performs routine maintenance and assists with troubleshooting under limited supervision while continuing to develop technical skills and industry knowledge. Responsibilities include following site procedures and lockout/tagout requirements, identifying and reporting hazards, using PPE and environmental controls, assisting with installation and repair of modules, racking, wiring, inverters, combiner boxes, and trackers, conducting inspections and basic troubleshooting, supporting senior technicians, monitoring system performance using SCADA, and documenting maintenance activities in SAP. The position also includes ongoing technical and safety training and on-call support as assigned.
