About the role
Year in Industry Operations Engineering placement at Scroby Sands Offshore Windfarm. The role is based on site in Great Yarmouth and supports the Operations and Maintenance Team. Responsibilities include analysing wind turbine faults, recommending modifications to improve reliability and performance, supporting engineering and maintenance strategies, contributing to technical projects, developing health and safety knowledge, creating safety documentation, and taking part in offshore inspections and site safety initiatives. You will work alongside qualified Wind Turbine Technicians and help ensure planned work and projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and to a high standard. Applicants should be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, be eligible for a Year in Industry placement, and have strong communication skills, organisational ability, team experience, and clear motivation aligned with their studies and career plans. UK residence for at least five years is required due to potential National Security Vetting.
