RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a skilled, experienced Technician to support maintenance of the Robin Rigg offshore wind farm. The role is part of a small team of 12 and involves travel by boat to carry out regular maintenance on offshore wind turbines. Responsibilities include proactive and reactive maintenance, servicing, inspections, modifications, retrofits, and use of SCADA and other systems to investigate turbines, reset faults, and record maintenance work. The position is full time and permanent, with 11-hour shifts on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation. The role requires flexibility, on-call availability outside normal hours, and occasional travel to other sites. Required experience includes mechanical, electrical, power electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and maintenance, complex system troubleshooting, teamwork, minimal supervision, HSSE awareness, and strong written and verbal communication. Desirable experience includes slinger and banksman work, wind turbine O&M or commissioning, high voltage equipment up to 33kV, First Aid at Work, Working at Heights / Tower Rescue, offshore survival, offshore medical, and a full UK driving licence. A DBS check is required.
