About the role

TGRC is seeking experienced Onshore Wind Electrical Technicians to support upcoming onshore wind project activity in South Korea. This contract role involves electrical installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and completion activities across utility-scale onshore wind projects. The position includes turbine electrical installation, cable checks, energisation support, inspection, fault finding, planned maintenance, component replacement, electrical testing, handover activities and site-based technical support across wind turbines and associated project infrastructure. Responsibilities also include reading electrical drawings and manuals, supporting commissioning or operational teams, completing service reports and test records, supporting handover documentation, following HSE and permit-to-work requirements, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality. Requirements include experience in wind energy, renewable energy, power generation, construction, utilities or heavy industry; strong electrical knowledge; experience with wind turbines desirable; comfort working at height; safe use of electrical test equipment; good problem-solving skills; and willingness to work in South Korea. Electrical qualifications and GWO Basic Safety Training are preferred, along with Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid, Fire Awareness, LOTO, electrical safety or HV/LV authorisation.
