RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term (12 months) Year in Industry placement in Operations Engineering at Robin Rigg Offshore Windfarm, Workington. The role is fully site-based and starts in July 2027. It offers practical experience in offshore wind farm operations, wind turbine engineering, maintenance planning and delivery, engineering policies and procedures, and project work supporting strategic decision-making. Candidates should be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, IT, Computing and Networking, or a related discipline, and be eligible for a year in industry placement. Strong written and verbal communication, the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders are required. The role includes salary aligned with the Real Living Wage, mentoring, development support, and professional training including Global Wind Organisation certificate and Wind Turbine Safety Rules training.
