RWE Americas is seeking a full-time, fixed-term Intern, Investment & Valuation for Summer 2027 in Chicago, Illinois. The role is part of the Investment & Valuation team within Finance/Controlling and supports renewable energy investment decisions across the Americas, including solar PV, onshore wind, battery storage, and hydrogen. Responsibilities include quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment opportunities, validating inputs for valuation, preparing papers and presentations for leadership and the Board, improving investment processes and valuation models, and supporting ad hoc projects and quality control reviews. Candidates should be pursuing or have a degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field and have knowledge of valuation methods and financial modeling, strong communication and presentation skills, interest in renewable energy or energy markets, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams. The position is office-based with some travel.
