RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Tiger Team Technician I for a full-time, permanent Operations & Maintenance role in a field-based wind farm environment. The position supports regional operations and performs turbine maintenance and related work including generator bearing exchange, gearbox repairs, pitch ram exchange, yaw drive exchange, troubleshooting, training, safety exercises, software updates, and acceptance/performance testing. Responsibilities include maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles; providing technical guidance to the O&M team; keeping service records; monitoring contractors; and working safely while climbing wind towers and accessing wind turbines. The role requires travel up to 50% of the time and may include support at other RWE sites. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred wind or mechanical degree, preferred GWO certification, relevant experience in wind, solar, and BESS, and an unrestricted driver license.
