Mechanical Project Engineer for a 12-month contract based at Wormington Compressor Station in Gloucestershire, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of complex engineering projects across oil and gas, power generation, and petrochemical sectors. The role involves multidiscipline engineering coordination, project planning and controls, engineering change management, procurement oversight, quality and safety compliance, construction and commissioning support, and risk management deliverables including HAZID and HAZOP. Candidates should have a strong mechanical background, experience across FEED, detailed design, plant upgrades, fabrication, FAT, installation, pre-commissioning, and handover, along with knowledge of pressure systems, valves, instrumentation, heat exchangers, and packaged mechanical equipment. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is required, with chartered status or progress toward IMechE membership preferred.
