About the role
McDermott is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer Inspector for the Tilenga Project in Uganda. The role involves certification and verification of mechanical engineering activities in line with agreed schemes and specified requirements during installation and commissioning. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of mechanical engineering experience, and ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in UT, MT, PT, and RT. Additional experience requirements apply for Main Inspectors and Rotational Inspectors. The project runs for 1 year with rotation of 2 months on / 2 weeks off. Food, accommodation, local transportation, and flight tickets are provided.
