About the role
RWE Windpower NL BV is hiring a full-time, permanent OT Security Officer to support operational technology security across renewable energy assets, including onshore/offshore wind and photovoltaic sites. The role covers governance, compliance, risk, assurance, and operational security activities, including implementation of OT security controls, audits, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, incident response support, and collaboration with IT/OT engineering and operations teams. The position is Netherlands-centric with travel across the European onshore and offshore fleet and may require security clearance and GWO Offshore certification. Required experience includes cybersecurity and OT/ICS security in critical infrastructure or energy environments, knowledge of NIS/NIS2, CER Directive, IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, business continuity management, and hands-on SCADA/PLC experience. Preferred certifications include ISO27001 Implementer and Auditor and CISSP or GICSSP.
