About the role
Construction Contract Manager position in Milan for an international company active in onshore wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage projects. The role reports to the VP Construction and works closely with Construction Project Managers and Heads of Construction across Central European markets. Responsibilities include reviewing construction and supply contracts before works begin, managing contractual correspondence, notices, variations, and claims, supporting negotiations and dispute resolution, escalating significant commercial risks to management and Legal, supporting project close-out and final accounts, and coaching Project Managers on contractual topics. Requirements include at least 5 years of experience in commercial or contractual management during execution of capital-intensive projects in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or large construction, fluent English, good Microsoft Office and MS Project skills, solid knowledge of construction and supply contracts, and familiarity with FIDIC being preferred. Experience with EPC contractors or OEMs is highly valued. The role is based in Milan with three mandatory office days per week and responsibility for Central European markets.
