About the role
UTM Consultants are looking for a Site Technician for a 6-month contract role offshore Germany. The role requires 3.6MW and 4MW experience on Siemens turbines. Responsibilities include carrying out and documenting statutory and periodic inspections of offshore wind farm equipment, inspecting cranes, lifting equipment and service lifts including Avanti and SkyMan models, reviewing inspection records and certificates, completing visual, dimensional and functional checks, reporting defects, maintaining inspection reports, and coordinating with the operator, maintenance team and any required external inspection body. The work must be carried out in line with site WTSR and offshore safety requirements. Required qualifications include a mechanical or electrical trade certificate or equivalent vocational qualification, documented experience as a Crane Inspector and/or Lift Inspector, relevant OEM inspection training, WTSR Core training with site appointment as an Authorised or Competent Technician, and current GWO offshore training and offshore medical.
