About the role
RWE Renewables Denmark A/S is hiring an Operation Controller (Koblingsleder) for the Thor offshore wind farm project. The role is based in Thorsminde, with additional locations listed in Holstebro and Herning. The position is full time and permanent, within Operations & Maintenance. The Operation Controller will support safe electrical operations from the local control room, including planning, SCADA monitoring, HV switching, worksite preparation, commissioning support, and coordination with offshore teams, technicians, and the Central Control Room. Responsibilities include supervising substations and HV systems, maintaining operational logs and switching documentation, supporting troubleshooting and maintenance, coordinating marine operations, and contributing to operational readiness and electrical safety. The role involves shift rotation of 1 week on/off and some on-call duty. Requirements include HSEQ awareness, knowledge of BEK 1608 and EN 50110, vocational training in electrical engineering or SCADA engineering, and experience in control room operations, electrical operations, or HV asset management.
