About the role

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Year in Industry placement in Operations Engineering at Rampion Offshore Windfarm in Newhaven, UK. The role is hybrid, with three days per week onsite. Responsibilities include supporting offshore wind farm operations, safety management and reporting, stakeholder coordination, turbine fault analysis, operational risk documentation, daily fault reporting, work planning, technical decision-making, and a continuous improvement project with budget, contract and contractor management. The role is suited to students currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline who are eligible for a year-in-industry placement. Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to work independently, meet deadlines, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and be willing to travel to other sites when required. The position may require National Security Vetting to SC level and at least five years of UK residence.
