Avangrid Power is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to support onsite operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment at a wind powered generation plant. The role includes operating and maintaining wind turbine equipment and associated infrastructure, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, carrying out repairs and retrofits, completing QA/QC functions, and preparing required reports. The position may involve overtime, on-call work, short-notice travel, and work in adverse weather conditions. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus one year of college or technical school, 12 months of related experience or wind industry training, or an equivalent combination. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, computer skills, tower climbing ability, and a valid driver's license are required.
