Vice President of Operations & Asset Management for RWE Americas, LLC. Senior leadership role responsible for operational strategy, asset performance, and portfolio value creation for a growing natural-gas-fired generation business. The role leads a small team and works across engineering, project development, construction, commercial operations, finance, regulatory, HSE, procurement, and legal. Responsibilities include developing and executing operating strategy, overseeing asset management and portfolio optimization, managing financial and operational performance, supporting acquisitions and integration, and ensuring safe, reliable, compliant operations across generation assets. The position also covers commissioning, transition to operations, maintenance strategy, contract management, bid strategy, PPA negotiations, and risk assessment. Requirements include at least 12 years of experience in power generation operations, asset management, or heavy-industrial energy operations, with significant natural-gas-fired generation experience, plus experience with multi-site operations, budgets, capital planning, contract management, M&A due diligence, and greenfield project development. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Domestic and international travel up to 25% required.
