RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is hiring a full-time, permanent Wind Turbine Technician based primarily at Tween Bridge (South Yorkshire) or March (Cambridgeshire), with travel to sites in South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Cambridgeshire. The role involves maintenance, servicing and inspection of wind turbines and balance of plant, including reactive and proactive maintenance, inspections, modifications, retrofits and main component exchanges. The technician will work in a small team with minimal supervision, use SCADA and other computer-based systems to diagnose faults and maintain records, and support site operations, projects and non-routine work. Candidates should have proven wind turbine O&M experience, strong mechanical, electrical, power electronics and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, be competent as a slinger and banksman, and hold First Aid at Work, Working at Heights Training / Tower Rescue, and a full UK driving licence.
