RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term 13-month Year in Industry Operations Engineering placement at Sofia Offshore Windfarm in Grimsby, starting in July 2027. The role is fully site based and provides hands-on experience in offshore wind operations, including early-life turbine challenges, project management, routine campaigns, self-perform readiness, warranty defect close-out, life-extension and end-of-life studies, major component exchanges, and day-to-day wind farm activities. Applicants should be studying Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related combined engineering discipline, be eligible for a year-in-industry placement, and have strong communication, coordination, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills. Travel to other sites may be required. The position may require National Security Vetting to SC level and five years’ UK residence.
