About the role
RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a full-time, permanent Wind Turbine Technician based primarily at its Llandarcy site, supporting South Wales locations. The role involves maintenance, servicing, inspection, modifications, retrofits, and main component exchanges on wind turbines and balance of plant, using SCADA and other computer-based systems to diagnose faults and maintain records. The technician will work in a small team with minimal supervision, support site operations and projects, and travel to other South Wales sites when required. Strong experience in wind turbine O&M, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic and power electronics maintenance, HSSE awareness, and computer skills are required. A full UK driving licence and competence as a slinger and banksman are also required. First Aid at Work and Working at Heights / Tower Rescue training are noted.
