About the role
UTM Consultants are seeking an Offshore Export Joint & Termination Inspector for an offshore project in Poland. The role includes inspecting cable systems at offshore locations, witnessing VLF, sheath and OTDR testing, carrying out QA/QC inspections of termination work, reviewing contractor reporting and documentation, managing project records and permit-to-work requests, supporting handover certification, and preparing progress and handover reports. The project is scheduled to start on 20 March 2027 and run for approximately 8 weeks. Requirements include Seafarers Offshore Medical, First Aid, firefighting, sea survival and transfer training, climbing and rescue-at-heights training, and confined space training. Desirable experience includes HV/MV jointing, VLF and OTDR testing, and safe work in high and low voltage substation environments.
