Year in Industry Engineering placement at Greater Gabbard Offshore Windfarm with RWE Offshore Wind. Full-time fixed-term placement for 13 months, starting in July 2027 and based on site in Lowestoft. The role involves data analysis, wind farm operations, costing, project management, internal systems, support for turbine-related decision-making, maintenance planning, day-to-day engineering and operational activities, and contribution to engineering projects, including offshore work at sea. Applicants should be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline and be eligible for a year in industry placement. Strong communication, independent workload management, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement are required. National Security Vetting to SC level may be required. Training includes a Global Wind Organisation certificate, Wind Turbine Safety Rules training, and in-house technical training.
