About the role

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is offering a full-time, fixed-term 13-month Year in Industry placement in Operations Engineering at Rampion Offshore Windfarm. The role is based in a hybrid model with three days per week onsite in Newhaven and the remainder from home. Responsibilities include supporting offshore wind farm operations, safety management and reporting, stakeholder coordination, turbine fault analysis, operational risk documentation, site fault reporting, work planning, technical decision-making, and a continuous improvement project involving budget, contract, and contractor management. Candidates should be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline and have the ability to complete a year-in-industry placement. Strong written and verbal communication skills, independent workload organisation, teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and willingness to travel to other sites are required. The role requires at least five years of UK residence due to potential National Security Vetting requirements, and may require SC-level vetting.
