About the role

Year in Industry placement in Social Value Coordination with RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. Starting in July 2027, this is a full-time fixed-term 13-month hybrid placement based mainly from the Mostyn office at Rhyl Flats, with some home working. The role is within RWE Offshore Wind and focuses on social value coordination in the offshore wind and wider renewables sector. Responsibilities include supporting the Future Bright programme, coordinating with community fund administrators and external parties, collecting and analysing data, supporting case studies and reports, and taking part in stakeholder engagement and skills-related events across the UK and Ireland. The role is suited to an enrolled student studying Social Science, Communications or a similar degree eligible for a year in industry placement, with strong verbal and written communication skills, good organisation, Microsoft Office competence, and comfort working with diverse stakeholders. Travel to other locations may be required and expenses will be covered. The position is subject to potential National Security Vetting to SC level. Salary is in line with the Real Living Wage. Training includes Global Wind Organisation certification to work offshore, Wind Turbine Safety Rules Training, and in-house technical training.
